With our resident DJ's Holly Hart and Cheq are set to bang out those sick beats to get you busting those moves on the dancefloor. Hosted By MC Tricky P, its time to bring in the contenders for Miss Pride 2017. This year Miss Pride will be taking a direct role in raising funds for a charity (to be disclosed at a later date). With this we are looking for entrants who will be actively engaged in taking on a role, that plays a major part in raising funds and representing the community. MISS PRIDE HEAT Directly after the 9.30pm shows, all contestants will be called forward to the stage. During the Heat, each participant will answer a series of questions relating to various subjects that are important to The Charity, as well as the community. Judging will take place on the night and successful candidates will be notified and progress through to the Pride Fair Day Finals. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Each Entrant in the Miss Pride competition agrees to the following Terms & Conditions; - Must be at least 18 years of age - Must reside in the State of Queensland - Must live and identify as a woman - Must Self-Identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community - Must agree to appear on stage and consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded in any medium for the purposes of promoting Brisbane Pride Festival and Scarlet. - If she wins, must agree to represent the title throughout her title year and return to the event next year to step aside from her title. There will be events throughout the 12 months of the winners crowning where they will be expected to attend. This includes (and is not limited to,) International Lesbian Day, Queens Ball Gala and all Scarlet Events. As a representative of the community, you may be called on for marches and any other important and up comming events.
